Facilities – Galleries
Every year the Main Gallery at Highpoint Center for Printmaking exhibits the work of the Jerome Emerging Artists, Artists’ Cooperative members via semi-annual cooperative member exhibitions, the ACCESS/PRINT Program for high-school artists, the LOOK/SEE student exhibition, and one international show. Highpoint’s Main Gallery also exhibits work from Highpoint Editions, our biennial juried print show, solo shows by exceptional printmakers, and other traveling exhibitions all exhibited within 1000 square feet (135 linear feet) of dedicated display area.
Plus, an added bonus for print lovers — HP now features work by all active co-op printmakers in racks at the front galleries year round!
Print Research & Study Room
For print enthusiasts this room offers a more intimate look at the work of Highpoint Editions. With the archives readily accessible, visitors from schools and universities, as well as researchers and collectors, will have the opportunity to take a closer look at the diverse work from HP’s visiting artist program past and present.
325 square feet with pull out racks and flatfiles of artwork.
In 2010, Highpoint created the Threshold Gallery. Located adjacent to Highpoint’s north entrance, the goal of the Threshold is to feature focus shows by HP’s co-op artists. Presenting four exhibits annually, this intimate space allows each artist the chance to organize a “mini-show” and personally curate the space.
The Threshold Gallery contains 30 linear feet dedicated display area.
