This class will center on the importance of giving and receiving community feedback to enrich the artists' visual and written work. During our time together, artists will have the chance to share their work and ask for feedback on what would be most helpful to them. In addition to a formal critique structure, we will put time into professional practice through writing, developing, and editing artist statements that can be used in applications or anywhere else to promote your artistic practice.

With the aid of snacks and beverages, together, we will develop a comfortable environment to have positive and meaningful conversations about each person’s work. By communally engaging with each other, this class will be used as a space to help further augment your studio time and talk about risks and new directions in your practice.

*Open to any current Highpoint co-op member interested in going through the critique process with any ongoing print projects.

**If you’ve never gone through a critique before, that’s okay! I will ensure that we create a welcoming space for all levels of makers. - Edson :)
