Highpoint Editions artist Alexa Horochowski is featured in the exhibition "Land Body Industry" at University of Minnesota's Katherine E. Nash Gallery. Horochowski, along with seven Minnesota-based artists and one collaborative team working across Minneapolis and San Francisco, investigate industrial narratives in their artwork. The exhibition is on view January 16 - February 10, 2018.
"Each work in the exhibition is both tethered to a specific locale and connected to a globalized tale. Whether originating in a desire for conquest, a need for survival, or consumer demands, industry generates a recurring story of transformation, loss, and at times, reinvention.
