Highpoint Editions artist Andrea Carlson’s work will be featured at the Crystal Bridges Museum’s new exhibition, “Art for a New Understanding: Native Voices, 1950s to Now” Curated by Mindy Besaw, the show works towards redefining what contemporary Indigenous art means today. “Highlighting the work of 40 Indigenous artists from the US and Canada from the 1950s to the present, the show examines ways each of the artists are part of a larger dialogue about contemporary Native art’s correspondence with the broader contemporary art world.” - news.artnet.com
