Free Ink Day: Garden Printing!
May 17, 12–4 PM at Highpoint
Join us for a fun and free afternoon of printmaking at Highpoint! We’re celebrating the season with a printmaking activity inspired by spring gardens. Participants of all ages and experience levels are invited to create vibrant prints using the pochoir (stencil) technique.
Using a variety of pre-cut stencils featuring flowers, leaves, and garden bugs, you’ll layer colorful shapes to build your own unique garden-themed artwork. All materials for the activity are non-toxic and supplied by Highpoint (while supplies last). No registration is necessary – just drop in, bring your creativity, and be ready to get inky! Staff and volunteers will be able to answer any questions along the way.
Drop in anytime between 12 and 4 PM!
Parking: Enter by walking through HP’s Lake Street entrance or by the driveway off Colfax. Street parking is available, or visitors are encouraged to bike, walk, or take public transit. The event will take place in HP’s education classroom.
We are looking for Volunteers. Are you interested in helping visitors engage in a free creative outdoor printmaking activity and gaining experience working with an arts nonprofit? Apply below:
