ACCESS/PRINT is an unforgettable mentorship experience for young artists!

Are you ready to take your art to the next level? ACCESS/PRINT (A/P) is a completely free mentorship program designed for highly motivated high school students (grades 10-12) who are passionate about art or printmaking and building a standout portfolio.

No prior print experience is necessary. This is your chance to work side-by-side with experienced artists in Highpoint’s renowned print shop and showcase your work in a professional gallery setting!

As a participant, you’ll explore an array of printmaking techniques, including monoprinting, drypoint intaglio, relief block printing, and screen printing. After the introductory workshops, you’ll take the lead in creating an independent project, guided by artist mentors, peer critiques, and supervised work sessions.  This immersive program will help you refine your technical skills, develop your creative voice, gain confidence as an artist, and build community with fellow young artists.

Program Highlights:

  • Weekly sessions: at Highpoint every Wednesday from 4:30-7:30 pm.

  • Independent project: Design and develop your own printmaking project.

  • Gallery exhibition: Celebrate your work in a professional exhibit in Highpoint’s main gallery, opening May 2025.
