Highpoint Center for Printmaking is a space for all. We provide robust programming for emerging and professional artists alike, for students and life-long learners, art appreciators, neighbors, and the greater community. We continue to build programs and seek funding to make sure that our space is welcoming and inclusive now and in the future.
Visit the gallery Monday - Friday, 9- 5 PM, Saturdays 12 - 4 PM @highpointprints @highpointeditions
LEARN ABOUT OUR PROGRAMMING:
A VIBRANT COMMUNITY
HIGHPOINT CO-OP has been a core part of HP’s mission since its founding in 2001. Co-op artists gain access to HP's printmaking facilities, equipment, and storage, receive discounts on classes, and benefit from mutual feedback and support, encouraging individual artistic growth and contributing to a sense of community.
PROFESSIONAL SUPPORT
AND VISIBILITY FOR ARTISTS
HIGHPOINT EDITIONS’ visiting artist studio is set up for an artist to apply new printing techniques to their practice, efficiently test prints, provide technical support, and encourage creative exploration. The dedicated artist studio allows guest artists time to work quietly, yet with direct access to HP's professional printing studio and printing staff.
PROGRAMS DESIGNED FOR ARTISTS AT ALL STAGES OF THEIR CAREERS
ARTIST PROGRAMS Highpoint supports artists through the Jerome Early Career Residency Program, the McKnight Printmaking Fellowship for mid-career artists, the Full Color Print Fellowship, and our newest program, the Teaching Artist Learning Community for artists of color. These programs provide a monetary stipend, access to the Highpoint co-op space, exhibition opportunities, technical support, and more.
CREATIVE EXPERIENCES FOR ARTISTS, VIEWERS, AND NEIGHBORS
GALLERIES annually features work from each of Highpoint’s studio programs (co-op, classroom, Jerome Residency, McKnight Fellowship, and Highpoint Editions). And twice a year, we showcase work from other national and international artists through curated and juried exhibitions.
OPPORTUNITIES TO GROW
EDUCATION PROGRAMS For adults, youth, and learners of all ages. Each year, Highpoint serves thousands of K-12 youth in Minnesota through in-person printmaking classes, art kits, virtual lessons, and more. Learn more about our education programs here.
