Highpoint Center for Printmaking founders Cole Rogers and Carla McGrath are being awarded the 2018 Outstanding Printmaker Award by the Mid America Print Council. "Throughout Highpoint’s existence Cole Rogers and Carla McGrath have worked to promote printmaking on both a regional and national level, inspiring and nurturing generations of new printmakers, providing access for artists and producing top-quality collaborative prints. It is in recognition of their dedication and contributions to the medium that MAPC is proud to recognize them as the 2018 Outstanding Printmakers." - Mid America Print Council
Carla McGrath and Cole Rogers will deliver the Opening Keynote Address part of the 2018 MAPC Conference “Go West: A Collaborative Turn” in Laramie, Wyoming. The conference will also feature an exhibition of work from Highpoint's publishing arm, Highpoint Editions, and a show curated by Highpoint's Exhibitions & Artists’ Cooperative Manager, Josh Bindewald.

Outstanding Affiliates is an invitational exhibition of artist-published prints that celebrates the breadth, diversity, and quality of work being produced by 17 printmakers who have advanced and refined their practice with the support of Highpoint. The individuals featured herein include current and former interns, cooperative and resident artists, guest curators, and staff members.
