Keisha Williams is the Curatorial Department Assistant and Artist Liaison in Contemporary Art at the Minneapolis Institute of Art. She holds an MA in Visual Arts Management and Curating (Richmond the American International University in London, 2017) and an MA in Art Gallery and Museum Studies (University of Leeds, 2015). During her time at Mia she has curated Joe Horton: Vessel and co-curated Mapping Black Identities exhibitions. She is a contributing author to the recent Routledge publication “Accessibility, Inclusion, and Diversity and Critical Event Studies,” 2019.
Alex Buffalohead (Bdewakantowan Dakota, a citizen of the Sisseton Wahpeton Oyate) is an artist, curator, and musician. She is the Arts and Cultural Engagement Manager at the Native American Community Development Institute and All My Relations Arts Gallery in Minneapolis, MN. Buffalohead is a 2019 Emerging Curator Institute Fellow and has curated exhibitions at Highpoint Center for Printmaking in Minneapolis, and Artistry's Inez Greenberg Gallery in Bloomington. Buffalohead earned a BA from Augsburg University, an AS from the Art Institute International of Minnesota, and an MA from the University of Saint Thomas.
Sarah McMullin is an accomplished senior executive in the Apparel industry with more than 28 years of experience. Currently, she is the Vice President of Apparel Sourcing for Target. Sarah is new to the Twin Cities area and relocated here last August from Portland, Oregon. Prior to moving into her current role, she worked for 24 years at Nike, Inc. Her last role was Vice President of Product Creation and Operations for Apparel. Sarah spent a great deal of her career in Asia and lived in the Philippines, Indonesia, Taiwan and Hong Kong. She and her husband Scott love to travel and try to research and collect art in every country they visit. She has two children, Ella, 20, and Henry,15.
