The first project published by Highpoint Editions was David Rathman’s Five New Etchings in 2001. This suite of intaglio prints features silhouetted scenes from the “Old West”, annotated with darkly humorous text. An experienced printmaker in his own right, Rathman used a wide range of intaglio techniques to create these five editions, including sugarlift, spitbite, aquatint, and drypoint. This suite of five prints is no longer available for purchase through Highpoint.
